All Personal Information is protected by MicroGraam in accordance with the terms set forth in MicroGraam's Terms of Use (the Agreement) and in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into and is fully subject to the terms of the Agreement. All capitalized terms which are not otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy are defined in the Agreement.

2.Privacy of Personal Information

MicroGraam's primary goal in collecting Personal Information is to provide you and other Members with a secure, efficient and customized platform for electronic borrowing and lending transactions. In addition to maintain accurate information and records of communications with its Members, MicroGraam may use this Personal Information for its internal business operations, including research and analysis in order to optimize the Website and the services provided thereby and better serve its Members' needs. However, MicroGraam will not share any information relating to its members received by it with any third party without the consent of the members.

Because we understand the importance of protecting the privacy of our Members and maintaining the security of their Personal Information, MicroGraam pledges that no Personal Information specifically attributable to registered Members will be disclosed, distributed, published, disseminated, sold, traded, or shared with any third party, including advertisers, business or governmental organizations, or other Members unless required to do so by law.

MicroGraam shall be entitled to disclose Personal Information to the third parties in the following situations:

  • When such disclosure is necessary to facilitate communications with Members or transactions between Members in accordance with the normal operation of the Website;
  • When such disclosure is so ordered by any court, administrative body, governmental agency or regulatory agency, or when MicroGraam in good faith determines that it is legally required to make such disclosure, or when such disclosure is requested by law enforcement authorities in connection with their investigations, or in the event of an emergency;
  • When enforcing the terms of the Agreement (including this Privacy Policy);
  • When MicroGraam in good faith determines that such disclosure is necessary to correct what MicroGraam believes to be false or misleading information or to address activities that MicroGraam believes to be manipulative or deceptive;
  • MicroGraam may aggregate and publish Personal Information relating to activity on the Website, but such aggregated Personal Information shall not include any Personal Information that could be used to personally identify you.

MicroGraam keeps the Personal Information for only as long as required to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. If you or any other Member wishes to prevent/ restrict any such usage by MicroGraam, the same shall be informed to MicroGraam immediately by contacting us at

3.IP Address Information

When you register as a Member on the website, MicroGraam may obtain the IP address and host name (if available) of your originating server. This information identifies the computer that you are using, but no personal information about you is disclosed to MicroGraam. This information helps MicroGraam to diagnose problems with its server, administer the website and gather broad demographic information about general patterns of Member use of the website.


A cookie is a small file placed on your computer’s hard drive. The Website uses cookies to facilitate and track your use of the Website and provide you with more personalised user experience. Cookies may be used to enable you to enter your Password less frequently, and to customize information that is targeted to your interests. However, MicroGraam does not assure or guarantee that no person will overcome or undermine the security measures and gain unauthorized access to the same or your data.
